Few people are as polarizing as Donald Trump. Some people love him. Others love to hate him. While much of the political establishment spends time making a lot of noise proposing lightweight solutions that merely treat the superficial symptoms of our nation's woes, Donald Trump cuts through the bull and gets to the heart of the matter: The U.S. Trade Deficit.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that when millions of jobs are sent overseas it's going to have major ramifications. Not everyone that worked in an outsourced field is able to move into an outsourcing-resistant career. Some are pigeonholed into a dying field. Many lack the nepotistic connections to make a transition. Others face unprecedented competition and are unable to board the crowded lifeboats to safety. Aspiring college seniors who've spent thousands of dollars and years of their life studying for a promising career have been dismayed to discover that the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train called the Orient Express. Whatever the individual circumstances may be, millions of Americans have been unable to cope with the rise of the Chinese Dragon. As such, these citizens are unable to contribute much to the economic growth of the United States. They're not able to afford the purchase of cars or houses. The more ambitious among them are not able to invest resources for pursuing innovative technologies that would make America more competitive. Many are lucky if they can buy the bare necessities. Until the outsourcing of jobs is curtailed there will be no lasting economic recovery for the millions of Americans affected by unfettered free trade.
